Wave 3 secret quests

Fragments eleven to fifteen, set by Roblox for Wednesday, September 23. Not open yet After this wave, one more wave of five fragments stands between you and the final puzzle.

The five games

Each is a game from the main path, and each hands out the hub badge shown on its card. Which hub badge goes with which game is matched by year order and holder counts, not listed by Roblox. Holder numbers are from Roblox's badge records at the last update of this site.

Plan around the team quest

Only Base Wars is reported to need a team: it sends four players, one of each class, into an old version of the game, and players who tried it with strangers report it taking close to an hour. The guides for the other four do not call for a team. Line up a group for the team quest early, and fit the others around it: Chaos Canyon, Build A Boat For Treasure, World // Zero and Berry Avenue RP.

The routes

Each route is how players report finishing the quest and is marked Unconfirmed. The rewards are catalog items published by Roblox; which quest pays which one comes from player recordings. Codes and puzzle orders are in the linked videos.

Chaos Canyon

Starts with the battle armor on the blue building, then a room whose walls are covered in sticky notes. The game's own badge asks for the Bloxxer badge from the 2009 main quest first.

   Earn the Bloxxer badge first (the 2009 main quest), as the secret badge's description says.

   In Chaos Canyon, pick up the battle armor, usually on the blue and white building. It is what makes the letters show on the sticky notes.

   Go to the sticky-note room and type a code by holding E on each letter. Your character changes colour when a code is right. There are five codes; they are shown in the videos below, not copied here.

   Each code opens one of five billboards. Jump into it and finish its challenge: collect three presents while Santa chases you; carry an injured brother down from a tower to his brother; reach the boat and set sail; clear the rabbits with the laser over a few faster rounds; and bring down the pyramid while fending off the mummies that come out of it.

   After the fifth challenge the badge fires. Claim the item in the hub's 2009 area.

Base Wars

A glowing statue in a cave up the mountain, which sends a team of four to an old version of the game. The badge inside the game is called The Trials.

   Set every loadout slot to classic gear. If the statue looks rusty when you reach it, the loadout is not right yet.

   Drive up the mountain to the glowing cave and touch the statue. It teleports you to an old version of Base Wars.

   You need a team of four, one of each class. Players advise going in with friends who can talk to each other: one creator took close to an hour with strangers.

   Work through the puzzles together, each class doing its part, then ride the lift up, beat an enemy wave and the boss. The badge fires.
5. 5
   Claim the item in the hub's 2012 area, inside the cracked building at the back.

Build A Boat For Treasure

Starts from the build menu's search bar and ends with a 25-piece picture puzzle.

Unconfirmed

   Open the build menu and type the search phrase shown in the videos below into its search bar. A magnifying glass and a counter out of 25 appear.

   Use the magnifying glass to reveal 25 hidden puzzle pieces around your area and walk into each one.

   Three helpers are hidden nearby: a gravity coil for the high pieces, a potion that lets you swap bodies with the character near spawn, and a bomb that opens a cage.

   With all 25, place the pieces in build mode as a five by five picture of the game's logo. The badge fires when it is complete.

   Claim the item in the hub's 2018 area, at the back of the temple at the end of the river.

World // Zero

Starts down the well next to spawn and ends with a dragon fight. The badge inside the game is called Heart of Fire.

Unconfirmed

   Finish the 2020 main quest first, as guides advise. Walk into the well just left of spawn to reach a hidden room, where a character asks for four missing relics.

   Find the four relics from her riddles: one behind the waterfall, one in a house past the farm guarded by crows, one in a house near the water, and one at the far end of the beach path in the big sand castle.

   After the fourth relic, go back through the well and enter the old portal. You have three lives.

   Clear the enemy waves in the town, then a smaller boss, then the dragon. Players advise using skills rather than plain sword swings.

   Take the dragon's heart and the badge fires. Claim the item in the hub.

Berry Avenue RP

Starts at a tree on the mountains near the airport. In the game, the quest panel asks for three small finds: a little style, a sip of sweetness and a touch of colour.

   Wear the Classic VIP t-shirt, which the videos show is needed to enter a VIP-only shop later.

   Drive to the mountains near the airport and talk to the tree to get the quest.
3. 3
   In town, collect a shirt from the clothing shop, a nail polish from the nail shop and a smoothie from the smoothie shop, then hand them to the tree. You are sent to a secret version of the town.

   There, turn the mannequins in the VIP shop to face the street, press the polish bottles in the order the videos show, and blend the smoothie in the order the videos show.

   Walk through the portal that appears. The badge fires.

What the predictions got wrong

• Jailbreak was expected, World // Zero came instead. Before the wave, community schedules listed Jailbreak. The badge records say otherwise: World // Zero's Heart of Fire badge started filling up, while Jailbreak's event badge stayed empty.
• The Berry Avenue reward is still unpaired. The quest is solved, but no source yet says which catalog item it pays, so this page does not guess.
• Beware routes that match no one else. One video series described different routes for Base Wars, Build A Boat and Berry Avenue than every other guide. The routes here follow the guides that agree with each other and with the badge names.
• Chaos Canyon's code order varies. Guides enter the five codes in different orders, which suggests the order does not matter, but no guide says so.

With this wave done you hold fifteen of the 20 fragments. The last five are due Friday, September 25, and after them the final puzzle opens and the race for the first 20 places begins.
